So between the replica of the Titanic (the “world’s largest museum attraction” where you can book a wedding, ladies and gents) and DOLLYWOOD, I think Pigeon Forge, TN is a must-see on any American road trip.
Back from Stockholm, sick as a dog. (The first time in about two years or so - I blame midnight sun-induced insomnia.) My camera broke the penultimate day of the trip and now only takes pictures that are out of focus, with an air of instant nostalgia.
Kept thinking about The Lonely Island song, “I’m on a Boat.” Seriously.
(Since it is X-Men: First Class release day, it’s a fine time to share my Michael Fassbender hates shirts post, now that he is a star crashing into the mainstream. I didn’t even factor in whether or not he’ll be shirtless in this movie. There may be an analogy to be made between Fassbender’s tendency to take off his shirt and Ewan McGregor’s once-frequent full frontal nudity in the 90s, but I’m too sick to figure it out.)
